About a year ago I was signed up for an acoustic/vocal gig and I needed a small sound monitor. To be honest, I did some research and had decided that I would purchase the Mackie SRM150 for the job. When I arrived at Fleet Sound John Ritchie advised me that they were out of stock on the SRM150 but that they had the Behringer B205D in stock. Now, to be truthful, I am a BIG Mackie fan! I own two Mackie SRM350 and two Mackie SRM450 powered speakers. Honestly, I had zero interest in the Behringer B205D but John suggested I try it out. So, with his help we wired up a full acoustic/vocal setup and I gave it a try. It seemed Ok so I bought it in order to do the gig that night. I have now owned this fantastic monitor for over a year and I use it everyday. It is an amazing monitor but it also has many other features that make it so much more valuable! It is so versatile that I have sold my Mackie 1604VLZ 16 channel mixer and outboard pricessors as I just didn't need it anymore! All of this to say that Behringer nailed the B205D and you won't regret picking up this baby for your kit and you'll save a hundred bucks to boot over the Mackie SRM150. Just sayin....
